We had an earthquake in Seattle this last summer: not a big one, no people were hurt, but some damage was done to older buildings and the city froze for a day or so.
The earthquake happened about 10AM. Wes was asleep and I was online locating the schedule for the bus I needed to take to a noon meeting, when the building began to shake.
Wes leaped out of bed and stood naked under the closet door jamb.
I grabbed the computer to make sure it wouldn't fall off the table.

I can believe it... the computer would be one of those "precious items" I would have to save from a fire, flood, or earthquake.
I think both my MR and I would of grabbed a kid and a computer on the way out...lol
