I posted a new article at WrittenByMe.com yesterday - Mental Illness or Physical Illness? - and it's gotten a "5 thumbs up" rating already. Like I said a couple of posts ago, I write for a purpose. eProps and Thumbs-up and other ratings aren't just ego-boo, they aren't even just motivation-fuel -- they are the record that the purpose is being accomplished.
And thanks for the feedback to that post.
It's good to know that the writers I respect do value their own work! And welcome to my newest subscriber, toreibjo.

Those five stars were well deserved.
It's almost worth it to sign up with WBM again, so I could rate your article. It's probably the truest and most beautiful thing I've seen about "mental illness." I suffered from chronic, and sometimes very severe depression for most of my life. When it was finally diagnosed, I found that I was in the treatment-resistanat minority. Little by little, I learn how to manage it so that my normal state is now usually "just" mildly depressed. That doesn't make it any easier. I don't think it ever gets easier.
Glad folks are giving you the positive feedback you deserve, Anitra. I enjoyed the WBM article, and look forward to reading more.
I thought the article was very good. I wanted to rate it, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I think that I am even a member of Writtenbyme and have a profile and everything. But obviously I've not done enough to know my way around. Anyway... 5 thumbs up from me
well let me get out of your way!!!
Sail on... sail on!!!
Captain, you're never an obstacle.! You're scenery.
